Aiming to be a leader of the tennessee river?
In 2018, the directors of the three largest open water events to take place on the Tennessee River teamed up to create the Triple Crown of the Tennessee. Any swimmer who completes all three races will achieve a Triple Crown award, depending on how quickly you achieve this feat. Complete all three events in a single year - gold. Two years - silver. Complete all three within three years - bronze.
If you have completed this feat, please email any race director in November and let them know which years you completed each event. After verification, you will receive a Triple Crown patch, and if you received Gold, an embroidered towel. You may only claim this title once, so please only reach out when you are ready to claim your award. Your status can always be upgraded in the future, but you will not receive another patch/towel.
